Enjoying the field in the lead-up to the Pattern Competition next weekend.
Aaron, piloting Robs 'Fun Cub' tows Bens old glider rescued from the bin.
First of many succesful aerotows.
The field is ready, looking good and the catering department is preparing a menu to delight all attendees.

Another Field?

Well another site has been discovered for possible purchase!
I haven't seen it yet, but by all accounts it's excellent.
Just a little bit closer to town than the last attempt.
Fingers crossed.

Static Display

Saturday 19th November
St Johns Church Bairnsdale
Annual Fair.
Seven of us had a model or two on display, Brian had his laptop running 'Real Flight' into Darryls larger monitor. Quite a few people had a go at flying, there were many questions from visitors and a non-boring morning was had by me anyway.

A few of the models displayed, variety in abundance.

Gas turbine turbo prop hiccup.

Aarons Porter had a flame-out literally; 500mm long, the wing covering was heat-shrunk once more.

Pattern at SWAMPS

I pinched this comment off the Victorian Pattern Association website
check it here.

"Ben Biggs made the trip over from Bairnsdale with his new Sebart Wind S50e. He put in 4 magnificent flights to earn his second promotion point to Advanced and winning the category outright. A lot of 8’s and 9’s in those flights! I feel he has probably one more competition in Sportsman and that’s it. He’ll be making the Advanced pilots nervous there for a while."

I hope they don't mind me using it here.
WELL DONE BEN!
